Anna Sorry for your loss August 20, 2009

I am so sorry for your loss.  I truly cannot imagine what you are going through.  But as a mother (my son was born 3 days before Austin on 12/22/08), I can understand the hurt, the anger, and also the love.  I will pray for you, your family and Austin.

(I am also in MD (outside of Baltimore).  If you ever need some company, please let me know.  My email address is annakim23@hotmail.com.)
Kennedy's Mom I am so sorry August 14, 2009

I am so sorry you are walking in these shoes. My precious Kennedy was born Dec 9, 2008 and died Feb 16, 2009. SIDS....it is so hard to understand. I just don't understand how a perfect, healthy baby just stops breathing. Not just any baby, but a baby that the whole world revolved around. There are no words for this kind of pain, I know you already know that. I would not wish this pain on anyone. Most days it is almost too much. It is the kind of pain that makes you reach out to a stranger because you hurt for them also. I am just so sorry but sometimes it helps me to know that someone else TRULY does undertsand. I hear that time will ease the hurt, and I must believe (for my own sanity) that this is true. I am "shopping" for a place to build a website for my baby, and that is how I found your site. It is beautiful.

adele My thoughts are with you August 11, 2009

As a December mummy from the UK I just wanted to say that I wish the world was a fairer place. That you had not had to go through your loss. And also, that I pray for you and Austin. That you may find a peace that helps you cope.

Brandy,

  All the photographs of Austin are just beautiful.  I can't imagine what waking without him each day is like.  You both are continuously in our prayers and have been since we heard of your loss.

Hendrick Polanco My deepest condolences July 25, 2009

My deepest condolences.  May these few words from the Holy Scriptures bring you comfort in your time of distress...John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it. 39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.” 40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44 The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;
